Buck Paradigm Knife And ErgoHunter Boning Knives

The Buck Paradigm knife features Buck’s new Shift Mechanism/ASAP opening assist.  The Shift Mechanism is a bolster lock that prevents the blade from opening accidently.  The blade flipper along with the ASAP assist system provides quick and easy blade opening.

This knife is of liner lock design and features Micarta handle scales and a 3.25″ 13C26 Sandvik blade.

Buck AVID Series Paradigm Knife

The Buck ErgoHunter Boning Knives come with two different steel options, either a 420HC version or the more expensive Sandvik 12C27 version.

Both feature 5 inch blades, textured black Alcryn rubber handles, and nylon sheaths.

Buck Nighthawk Bravo Knife with BESH Wedge

Brent Beshara of BESH Knives came up with the blade design known as the BESH Wedge.  This blade grind provides good penetration while reducing the likelihood of a broken tip.  It allows one to abuse the knife more than is possible with a traditional pointed tip blade design. 

Buck uses this blade design in a few of their models including their new Nighthawk Bravo.

As you might guess from its name, the Nighthawk Bravo is a variation of their Nighthawk knife.  The difference being the length (i.e. only 4 inches) and the blade grind (i.e. the BESH Wedge).  The handle and blade materials remain the same: 420HC for the blade material and a molded nylon handle with a rubberized grip.

Like the other Nighthawk models, the Bravo is made in the U.S. and comes with a black heavy duty nylon sheath.  It is also backed by Buck’s Forever Warranty.
